Ỷ Lan is the strategic queen; she serves as regent for her husband and children. As indomitable as Nhị Trưng, Bùi Thị Xuân, even when losing, is not humiliating. Bà Triệu would choose to fight courageously to the point of death, refusing to surrender to the enemy. Then design this line of “áo nữ sĩ” (women’s shirts) to pay homage to the ancients and to celebrate today’s brilliant women. They do not wait for men to provide them anything; they pursue careers on their own terms. The women’s outfit is inspired by Nguyen-era 補子, sewn with linen material.
