Each of the oil paintings is a combination of different elements evoking the many materials that made these storied buildings.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"image-default-size\"><picture><source srcset=\" \n\/\/media.urbanistnetwork.com\/urbanistvietnam\/articleimages\/2022\/03\/22\/kyanvietnam\/4m.webp\n\" type=\"image\/webp\" media=\"(orientation: portrait)\" \/><source srcset=\" \n\/\/media.urbanistnetwork.com\/urbanistvietnam\/articleimages\/2022\/03\/22\/kyanvietnam\/4h.webp 2300w\n\" type=\"image\/webp\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/media.urbanistnetwork.com\/urbanistvietnam\/articleimages\/2022\/03\/22\/kyanvietnam\/4b.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/picture>\n<p class=\"image-caption\" style=\"text-align: center;\">Ch\u00f9a Th\u1ea7y, Hanoi.<\/p>\n<p>After graduating and joining the workforce, V\u0169 dabbles in both architecture and visual art. He publishes some paintings online and has been receiving positive feedback from the community. This motivated him to set aside more time for art and begin putting together his first collection. And eight months after putting the very first brushstrokes on canvas, the 18 pieces in \u201cK\u1ef3 \u1ea8n Vi\u1ec7t Nam\u201d were finished.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"half-width left\"><picture><source srcset=\" \n\/\/media.urbanistnetwork.com\/urbanistvietnam\/articleimages\/2022\/03\/22\/kyanvietnam\/1m.webp\n\" type=\"image\/webp\" media=\"(orientation: portrait)\" \/><source srcset=\" \n\/\/media.urbanistnetwork.com\/urbanistvietnam\/articleimages\/2022\/03\/22\/kyanvietnam\/1h.webp 2300w\n\" type=\"image\/webp\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/media.urbanistnetwork.com\/urbanistvietnam\/articleimages\/2022\/03\/22\/kyanvietnam\/1b.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/picture><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To V\u0169, Vietnam is interwoven with a prolific history across the eras. Architecture is one of the most clear-cut mediums to reflect that rich history. In the first collection, he wants to present to young people and other spectators the many tales of Vietnam\u2019s landmarks and geographic regions. From that vantage point, each person can draw for themselves a perspective and appreciation of the nation\u2019s historic structures.\u00a0Within these stories, there are also didactic themes of how a society rises and falls \u2014 perhaps one can find a piece of oneself in these familiar images?<\/p>\n<p>Apart from modern luminaries like Notre-Dame Cathedral in Saigon or St. Joseph\u2019s Cathedral in Hanoi, the collection also delivers snippets of nature and ancient edifices \u2014 like the B\u00e1o Thi\u00ean Tower or L\u01b0u C\u1eeb archaeological site in Tr\u00e0 Vinh.
