“THE RESONANCE OF REMEMBRANCE”- Recreate the memory of 46 years of national reunification.

With talented hands, a unique aesthetic sense, pursuit and attachment to the abstract painting genre, and unforgettable memories of heroic years, painter Duong Sen gave birth to five paintings capturing the vivid colours of our army and people in the Truong Son mountain range during the years of resistance through a solo exhibition titled “THE RESONANCE OF REMEMBRANCE.”

The exhibition includes five works, including four lacquer works and one oil painting. Through the exhibition, the author wants to convey to viewers valuable messages about the spirit, history, and art of the nation’s resistance war through the eyes of painting.

Through five paintings at the exhibition, artist Duong Sen has brought intimate scenes of the people and nature of Truong Son in the years of fire through the perspective of painting art. The most prominent is the large-format abstract lacquer painting “Legend of Truong Son”, which is also the work that the artist himself is most concerned about.

In addition to seeing unique works with their own eyes, exhibition visitors also have new experiences when listening to the narration, art analysis, and inspirational stories behind the creation by scanning codes. QR next to the work.

The exhibition “The resonance of remembrance” is open to visitors for free from April 24 to May 15 at Vy Gallery (Nguyen Van Thu Street, District 1, HCMC).
