NGUYEN HOANG HOANH

Nguyen Hoang Hoanh was born in 1937, and he is attached to his teaching career and silk paintings. Nguyen Hoang Hoanh graduated from Gia Dinh Fine Arts School in 1959. Later, he became Deputy Director of Saigon Fine Arts College (1973 – 1975). His works have won many significant awards and are collected nationally and internationally.

Nguyen Hoang Hoanh’s paintings are marked by the gentle dreaminess typical of silk paintings, but not as gloomy as other works of the same material. The characters in his paintings are often young women, the elderly, and children.
