PHAM CONG THANH

The Realist painter, Professor Pham Cong Thanh was born in 1932. He is an exceptional teacher for many students at Hanoi University of Fine Arts (now Vietnam University of Fine Arts). Although he did not have many awards in the arts, he had many outstanding achievements in education. Typically as art critical research, essential textbooks. He was also awarded many valuable titles, such as the Professor title, the Distinguished Teacher title and many medals in education.

Prof. Pham Cong Thanh loves folk art and realistic drawing. His artistic point of view is the reproduction of what is beyond nature and society. Pham Cong Thanh mainly paints oil paintings and illustrations. Experts consider his work to be “standard in technique, composition, and lighting”.
